It is Hurricane week! Day 3! Facebook focus, avatars from the "Hurricane the film", and so on. :D Keep the momentum going. If you haven't watched the video yet follow the link below:
Hurricane Video
It's all about promoting the video and the song itself!
On another note my blogger friend Shelley at:
Shelley's Ship has mentioned the video "Closer to the Edge" another great video you should certainly check out. Especially the credits...it is SO worth the wait. She pointed some out that I hadn't noticed before (mainly because I skipped the credits..) wait til around the 5:50 mark and check out Shannon he'll be on the right hand side ;) Closer to the Edge
One last note of the night. Pre-sale for part of the North American tour went on sale today. Shelley and I booked our tickets. We were originally going to go to three concerts one at the Bamboozle Festival, Camden NJ, and Boston MA. We're skipping Bamboozle and just heading to Camden a day early to scope out everything and take our time getting their. Then turning around and heading to Boston the following day :D Yay for the six hour drive! Needless to say WE ARE THRILLED! Cannot wait for the concerts! The drives are going to be long, but SO worth it. That will make a grand total of four concerts in 3 months basically for me and 3 for Shelley. Epic!
We'll be videoing various parts of our misadventures while on the road. Also we are going to be doing some sort of video message for Shannon's birthday. Want a part? Just shoot us an e-mail at JourneyToMars@yahoo.com we'll be happy to make a compilation for him. :)
Any ideas and what not while we're out on the road? Things you want to see? Just let us know!
More to come..... stay tuned

Hurricane Week!
It is the start of hurricane week people! For those of you who haven't heard the song follow the link below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RLwuDQSkDI
This means promote the song! Tell people about it! It doesn't even have to be just the song, it could be the album to, discuss it online and offline! :) It's all about spreading the word.
^^^ For those of you who have seen the music video this will look a tad familiar :) Awesome guy by the name of MadstheMuser on etsy made it... Got one for my friend who attended one the concerts with me recently. Anywho, go listen...start binging on the album itself if you haven't and remember to enjoy :D

Marssessed
The Mars fund for our epic adventure while promoting 30 Seconds to Mars this summer has begun!
Via collecting and returning bottles and cans :)
We are positively excited! We'll be able to get a slight jump start to it while we are on the road following them to various shows for their North American Spring Tour 2011.
In the meantime for those of you who may not be familiar with the newest album This Is War I suggest to follow the following links and listen ... they're wonderful
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLqHDhF-O28
^^ Closer to the Edge - I ADORE this song..and that's putting it mildly..its a feel good song that you cannot help but groove along to. I dare you to listen to this song in your car and NOT turn it up and sing along with it at the top of your lungs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RLwuDQSkDI
^^Hurricane - Yes this is a censored version. If you shy away from anything remotely considered "graphic"open a different window and just listen to it... this song is amazing...and certainly causes a bit of thinking...let it mull over ;)
Well until next time folks... Enjoy!

The Beginning
Step 1. Listen to 30 Seconds to Mars..all albums (self entitled, Beautiful Lie, and This Is War) especially This Is War
Step 2. Attend a 30 Seconds to Mars concert (believe me it's well worth it)
Step3. Conspire with a like minded friend...we're young, and possess insatiable cabin fever...
Step 4. Plot ways to start a 'Mars Fund' (we're currently using 10 gallon jugs for pennies and randomness we come across)
Step 5. Plot out an epic road trip to promote 30 Seconds to Mars.
(We are aiming for this summer after college lets out YAY!)
^For starters...it's nearly 1 am...we're a tad groggy.. 30 Seconds to Mars announced the North American Spring Tour..I just about peed.
Shelley and I (my name is Felicia by the way) attended the 30 Seconds to Mars concert that was held at the Main Street Amory out in Rochester, NY on February 3, 2011. I also attended the following nights' concert at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY. So worth it. If you've ever considered seeing them in concert...DOOOOOO ITTTTT. It's worth any amount of hours driving. Not to mention if you can rope a friend into it, the hilarity of the drive adds to it.
Since then we've come up with an idea to spread the word about 30 STM, and we would like to start out in Boston, and work our way down the east coast...promoting all the way. Posters, stickers, getting people to listen to 'Hurricane' or 'Closer to the Edge' anything to bring awareness. It's in the works...but we will be doing everything in our power to bring this idea to fruition.
In the meantime, we will be attending the East Rutherford NJ show, Camden NJ, and Boston MA. A full EPIC weekend. It is going to be incredible.
